Valerie Geen is Head of the National Business Initiative’s Energy programme in South Africa in which she heads the NBI’s Energy Leadership Network with Big Business. She also manages strategic partnerships between Business and Government and is responsible for Stakeholder engagement, Marketing and Communications of the nationwide rollout of the NBI’s nationwide Private Sector Energy Efficiency programme. Valerie has led the broader sustainability Agenda with the Private Sector in South Africa since 2006 which has ranged from Education programmes, Corporate Social Responsibility, Climate Change, Energy and  Water. She also served on a number of judging panels relating to communities and environment.
