Tchaka Kamanga currently holds the position of Program Management Specialist- (Emergencies, Resilient Livelihoods and Climate Justice) at ActionAid Malawi. As the subject matter expert on Climate Justice Resilient Livelihoods and Humanitarian Response, he delivers policy analysis, fundraising, and capacity building project activities at Action Aid. Prior to Action Aid, Tchaka worked as a Technical Lead-Resilience at Self Help Africa (EU, FAO and GIZ Projects) and Disaster Risk Reduction Technical Lead at Christian Aid in Malawi (DFID and EU Projects).

Tchaka graduated from the University of Cape Coast in Master of Philosophy in Integrated Coastal Zone Management under the World Bank Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR) Scholarship. He holds Master's of International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid from Kalu Intitute of Development and BSc. Irrigation Engineering from the University of Malawi.
