Scott Overdyke is the Senior Programs and Planning Manager at Root Capital where he supports the organization's lending, advisory and field building research and development. Prior to Root Capital, Scott was a consultant with FSG where he helped companies design shared value strategies to drive financial, social and environmental returns. He has worked with a number of agricultural cooperatives, buyers, service providers, lenders, donors and social enterprises across Latin America and Africa in an effort to serve the needs of smallholder farmers. Scott is a graduate of Columbia Business School and Harvard Kennedy School and now lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
