Mr Obakeng Segwagwe has been with the Botswana Innovation Hub for the past 5 years as the Programmes Manager for the First Steps Venture Centre program popularly known as FSVC, the flagship technology entrepreneurship development program established by the Government of Botswana

Before joining the Innovation Hub, Mr Segwagwe was with the Local Enterprise Authority (LEA) as a Senior Manager. Driven by his passion for developing and growing entrepreneurship sector in Botswana and his hardworking ethics, he had worked for a period of 10 years occupying different managerial roles at LEA. His major role was to contribute to initiating, planning and developing policies and strategies for the divisional functions of the business services provided by LEA within the SME policy strategy in his National Branch Network Division.

Mr. Segwagwe has been a mentor and a coach in various programmes such as SLUSH, Female in Bio Sciences & SeedStars World. He has a total of 15 years working directly with SMMEs.Mr Segwagwe attained his Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Botswana in 2007.
