Elena Eckhardt

Elena Eckhardt has supported SEED since 2020 with research activities as well as the implementation of SEED Enterprise Support programmes. In her position as Research Analyst at SEED’s hosting partner adelphi research, Elena focuses on social and environmental entrepreneurship and sustainable business.
Prior to joining SEED, she gained experience in international cooperation at UN Environment’s Green Economy Division, the Myanmar Trade Development Programme implemented by the GIZ, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Elena graduated with an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science. As part of her Master’s thesis, she conducted a quantitative analysis on the determinants of climate policy adoption in low- and middle-income countries. She holds a BA in Political Science and Public Management from the University of Konstanz.
