Chabuka Jerome Kawesha
Chabuka, a Regulatory Governance and Compliance Specialist.
He serves as an Investment Advisor and Commercial Diplomat. He is a Fellow under the Institute of Directors (IoD) and an IFC/World Bank trained Corporate Governance Practitioner. He is an accredited Civil & Commercial Mediator and Arbitrator; and holds membership in the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Group in the United Kingdom and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), Zambia.
Chabuka has trained more than twenty (20) State Owned Enterprise / Parastatal Boards in his corporate governance training career. He has strong work ethics, strives for success and a strong Non-Executive Director (NED) experience from past roles serving Boards of Public institutions notably as Chairperson-Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA), Chairperson-National Institute for Industrial and Scientific Research (NISIR), Chairperson-Lusaka Business and Technical College (LBTC), Member-National Digital Migration Taskforce (NDMT) and Chairperson-Financial Sector Development Plan (FSDP) II Payment Systems Working Group, Bank of Zambia.
Chabuka is the current President - Zambia Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI), Immediate Past Chairperson - Zambia Private Sector Alliance (ZPSA) and the current Honorary Consul of the Republic of Georgia to Zambia. He is also involved in humanitarian work under Rotary International were he has been a member since 1996 and recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF). He loves cooking and taking care of orphans.
