Bruno Mweemba
Bruno Mweemba is a Green and Sustainable Finance Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in Development Finance. Over the last 10 years, he has been working on green finance notably developing financial mechanisms and instruments for biodiversity conservation and climate change mitigation and adaptation. He has been working with the Government of Zambia, the financial sector (banking, capital markets, pensions, and insurance sectors) to increase the flow of green finance into Zambia's biodiversity conservation and climate change priorities under the Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN).
Bruno has a Master of Philosophy in Development Finance (Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa) and an MBA in Financial Services (University of East London, United Kingdom). He is also a Certified Expert in Climate & Renewable Energy Finance (Frankfurt School of Finance & Management-Germany), Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA), and an Infrastructure Project Finance Expert (Middlesex University-UK).
