Vidya Batra is a Senior Fellow at The Energy and Resources Institute TERI and will support the coordination of the SEED India Hub activities.

Vidya has over twenty years of experience in research, technology development and scale up.  Her area of work involves value added utilization of industrial wastes for energy and environmental applications.  She has also worked with small and medium industries from different sectors in India and South Asia for improving resource efficiency, improved waste management and demonstration of closed loop technologies. She has worked on several international collaborative projects. This expertise will contribute towards providing innovative and technology related support to eco-inclusive enterprises.

Vidya has a Doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering from University of Cincinnati and a Bachelors in Metallurgical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University.  She is fond of music and travelling.
