Helena Posthumus is an interdisciplinary academic specialised in rural development and natural resource management, combining knowledge and experience from social and agricultural sciences. She has particular skills and expertise in agricultural economics and policy, rural land use, land and water management, value chain development, and impact assessment. She has worked as a senior advisor at KIT since 2013. Prior to that, she has worked in academia in the UK and the Netherlands for 15 years, carrying out academic research in the field of sustainable development.
