David Sher is the Investment Director at ERM’s Low Carbon Enterprise Fund, a mission-driven venture capital fund focused on for-profit companies with strong environmental impact. At the LCEF, David is responsible for originating and structuring investments in early-stage ventures and supporting our portfolio across South East Asia, Latin America and Africa. David started his career at Dresdner Kleinwort investment bank, where he managed principal investments in high yield and distressed debt. After leaving Dresdner, he advised US Congress on energy and climate change policy and worked with a number of UK waste management companies to grow their recycling and energy-from-waste businesses.  David holds an MBA with Distinction from Insead and an M.Math from Cambridge University and is a CFA Charterholder.
