Antoine Horellou graduated in 2006 with two masters degrees (in Entrepreneurship and Economic Development). In 2015, Antoine went on to found BOPS - Base of the Pyramid Solutions with the aim of boosting social innovations at the Base of the Pyramid (BoP) through advice, advocacy, funds, and operations in the field. BOPS focuses on market-based development strategies and inclusive business to fight poverty. BOPS has worked with several social start-ups: Ashoka France, Nubian Vault Association (affordable housing in West Africa, 2011 SEED Winner), Watever (floatable solutions in Bangladesh), 450 (carbon finance in France), LAGAZEL (off-grid electricity in Africa).
