The SEED Green Entrepreneurship Awards 2024 are excited to announce this year's winners, showcasing eco-inclusive enterprises in Morocco that stand out for their innovation and impact on sustainable development.

Organised by SEED, the SEED Green Entrepreneurship Awards in Morocco are sponsored by the Flemish government. These awards aim to highlight local businesses actively contributing to a greener and more sustainable future. This year, SEED launched a call for applications to select 10 runners-up and 1 winner of the SEED Green Entrepreneurship Awards. The winner will benefit from 1-year SEED Catalyser Pro support package, which includes tailored capacity-building workshops and one-on-one expert advice, and up to 15.000€ matching grant. The runners-up will receive a 6-month Catalyser Support package, which includes capacity-building workshops and expert advice with peer-learning opportunity, and up to 5.000€ matching grant each.

The Green Entrepreneurship Awards are a global initiative that celebrates the most innovative and promising local businesses in the field of sustainable development. The awards have recognised and rewarded companies worldwide for their commitment to environmental, social, and economic sustainability.

  • Prize: 15.000 euros
  • Description: Creating hydroponic farms in rural areas using nutrient rich water solutions to grow plants in environments where traditional soil 
    farming is not feasible.

AC ELECTRONIC PLC, Runner-up

  • Prize: 5.000 euros
  • Description: Transforming mixed and recycled plastic waste into 100% eco-friendly panels and boards, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional materials.

Alguno, Runner-up

  • Prize: 5.000 euros
  • Description: Offering seaweed fertilisers that provide essential nutrients to plants, contribute to carbon sequestration, soil restoration, and biodiversity conservation.

Foodeals MEA, Runner-up

  • Prize: 5.000 euros
  • Description: Recovering surplus food and redistributing it to communities in need, preserving natural resources like water, energy, and land.

JAFIFE By BEKRA Technologie, Runner-up

  • Prize: 5.000 euros
  • Description: Providing digitalised solar drying systems for agricultural products, reducing energy consumption with a mobile app.

Lombrisol, Runner-up

  • Prize: 5.000 euros
  • Description: Developing high-value organic fertilisers certified as Bio, free of pesticide residues and weed seeds.

Nes Park, Runner-up

  • Prize: 5.000 euros
  • Description: Collecting, sorting and recycling various materials, including electronic and plastic waste, and offering home or site collection services.

PGPR Technologies, Runner-up

  • Prize: 5.000 euros
  • Description: Converting waste into high-value biofertilisers, addressing environmental degradation and enhancing agricultural resilience to climate change.

Tamuda Culture, Runner-up

  • Prize: 5.000 euros
  • Description: Using innovative farming techniques like permaculture to preserve biodiversity and reduce pesticide use, while offering responsible ecotourism experiences.

Tech in Hand, Runner-up

  • Prize: 5.000 euros
  • Description: Using advanced 3D printing technology and sustainable materials like argan fibers and clay to create functional and aesthetic design objects, including furniture and decorative elements.

 Village Solaire Essaouira, Runner-up

  • Prize: 5.000 euros
  • Description: Attracting local tourists and preserving tree resources through argan tree reforestation and sustainable farming practices.

The winning enterprises of the SEED Green Entrepreneurship Awards 2024 stand out for their significant eco-inclusive impact.
