Nutri-Nations – is fighting food wastage in South Africa. The enterprise developed an innovative low energy mobile drying technology that processes excess fresh fruits and vegetables to produce highly valuable nutritional food powders.
The enterprise´s Nutricubes (mobile drying facility) goes to the source to process excess fresh produce to highly concentrated food powders, extending life spans from 1 week to 18months while holding all the nutritional goodness.
By bringing the market to the people the enterprise aims to efficiently process hundreds of thousands of tons of nutritional food that logistically would have gone waste due to lack of proper storage facilities in the country.
