CurversTECH

Offering irrigation systems, greenhouses, water reservoirs, and hydroponics technology
2023 SEED Climate Adaptation Award Sustainable Agriculture Zambia

CurversTECH’s unique value proposition lies in its commitment to reducing the environmental impact of traditional fuel energy sources and promoting a sustainable future. This is done by offering innovative and low-cost technology solutions for farmers, like solar and wind-powered irrigation systems, greenhouse tunnels, water reservoirs, and hydroponics technology.

CurversTECH also promotes hydroponics technology in urban areas where space is limited, making it an ideal solution for urban farmers and community gardens.

Eco-Inclusive Impacts

CurversTECH’s greenhouses and hydroponics systems enable farmers to grow crops in controlled environments, reducing exposure to extreme weather events, and their water reservoirs help farmers adapt to unpredictable rainfall patterns.

CurversTECH solar irrigation units, off-grid power units, and a wind power system for homes, have collectively replaced over 15 diesel and petrol engines in rural areas. The innovative technology has also resulted in significant cost savings, as the automated drip irrigation system has minimised input costs related to fuel and labour. Moreover, the company has trained over 30 young people and women in agriculture technology.
