The initiative’s ambitious goal is to promote and distribute ecological pest control for organic crops, especially cotton, vegetable and oil-producing crops. In this way, the partnership of local and community-based organisations and research agencies hopes to increase yields and preserve the production environment.

Eco-Inclusive Impacts
Bioprotect provides with a pest control alternative for organic crops without harming farmer's health or the environment.
  • Creating new employment opportunities in the sector.
  • Organising training in new techniques of agricultural production; increasing yields in agriculture and reducing food insecurity.
  • Reducing health problems related to use chemical pesticides.
  • Improving the quality of the production environment by ensuring the use of non-polluting products.
  • Protecting aquatic resources by reducing the pollution of surface waters by crop treatment.
  •  Raising awareness on the use of eco-friendly agricultural techniques.
  • Increasing income and reducing the expenditure of plant health.
  • Creating secondary income for craft units for compost production enriched with Trichoderma.
