Baoberry develops innovative products such as wetland in a box, floating treatment wetlands, mycelica, bacteria, phytoremediation research- and in applied biotechnology research with nature-based solutions. Baoberry provides ecological engineering and biotechnology services and products to NGO's, governmental organisations, the private sector and to the public, locally and globally.

Baoberry also conducts research and development in green, grey, white and blue biotechnology. They develop viable products addressing sustainability challenges and promoting community development. Their ecological engineering services include the planning, design and development, construction, maintenance and monitoring of viable ecosystems.

Baoberry is an ecological engineering and biotechnology solutions, innovations and research company that advances innovation in ecological engineering and biotechnology to address sustainability challenges in Africa. Key activities include research, product development, community education, and biotechnology innovation.

IIEMSA (formerly known as Monash South Africa) works with Baoberry on research opportunities and also on educating future water leaders.

North West University has been collaborating with Baoberry on concepts of Green Infrastructure, Eco-engineering and Biotechnology.

Senwes Ltd is a collaborative partner of Baoberry (Ecological Engineering Services) on various initiatives, such the “Awetbox” project.
