The UNDP Black Sea Climate and Business Initiative (CLIMBIZ) is a regional partnership focused on sustainable development and the green economy in the Black Sea area. 

The CLIMBIZ Challenge aims to promote innovative environmental and social entrepreneurship which incorporate a sustainable element in their business model. By supporting small-scale and locally-driven projects, the CLIMBIZ Challenge offers opportunities to scale up or replicate sustainable activities in the Black Sea region. It will be implemented in partnership with SEED.

Based on the Winners expressed needs, they receive a tailored support package from CLIMBIZ and its partners which consists of:
• profiling their initiatives nationally and internationally
• networking with interested organisations, supporters and investors
• skills development and business planning, with a specific focus on impact and investment readiness 

The deadline for submissions to this year's CLIMBIZ Challenge is 5 April 2013.
