SEED has been invited to participate in the panel discussion ‘Entrepreneurship as a Tool for Empowerment’ during the High-Level Thematic Debate at the 67th Session of the United Nation General Assembly, on 26 June 2013, in New York.

The thematic debate, mandated by the General Assembly Resolution A/RES/67/202, will join experts from all over the world to discuss promoting entrepreneurship in the context of sustainable development and poverty eradication at the national, regional and international levels.

The main aim of the high-level thematic debate is to discuss ways to create enabling environments that help entrepreneurs expand their activities as well as to share best practices, identify gaps and develop new ideas and initiatives.

SEED will take part in the panel discussion that will especially focus on entrepreneurship as a tool for empowerment, specifically of young people and women and on the importance of education for entrepreneurship.
