Call for applications: launch of the second SAG-SEED Starter in Ghana & Uganda
Time for the second cohorts: Switch Africa Green and SEED announce today a call for applications for the second rounds of the Starter Months in both Ghana and Uganda.
This coming March and April, future eco-inclusive entrepreneurs will receive advisory services to turn an idea into a business. During two periods of workshops in Kumasi and Kampala, the selected teams will work on developing and refining their business ideas. The period between the two workshops will be used for facilitated testing of the idea with potential customers and partners. In the end, teams are ready to go public with their ideas. The most successful teams can win additional capacity-building support for their enterprise.
We invite entries from teams who develop green and inclusive business solutions to the key social and environmental challenges in each country.
- For Uganda, these are: sustainable agriculture, manufacturing and tourism.
- For Ghana, these are: manufacturing, tourism and waste management.
The application deadline for both countries is 23 February 2017. Read more and apply here: https://www.seed.uno/support/starter.html
Do you want to be an entrepreneur but don't have a smashing business idea? You're in luck! Today, applications for the SAG-SEED Replicator in Ghana and South Africa also open.
