Julia Rohe-Frydrych has supported SEED since 2011. As SEED Head of Programmes she is in charge of coordinating operations on climate adaptation and biodiversity-positive entrepreneurship. In this context, she leads SEED activities in the Southern African region where she develops new SEED components, such as the SEED enterprise advocacy support and the SEED TVET support modules. In her position as Senior Manager at SEED's Hosting Partner adelphi research, she focuses on green and climate finance, sustainable private sector development and green entrepreneurship. Julia has strong methodological expertise in developing innovative capacity development programmes and toolkits for public and private sector target groups.

Prior to joining adelphi, Julia acted as an external program consultant for the Low Carbon Economy dialogue process with emerging economies and worked for the Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Bolivia and Indonesia in the areas of microfinance and good governance. Julia studied Political Science and Spanish in Germany and Peru and completed a post-graduate programme on international project management.
