Carla Pilz has supported the SEED team since 2021 and is mainly involved with the monitoring of SEED operations. In her position as a Project Controller at SEED’s Hosting Partner adelphi research gGmbH, Carla focuses on controlling and project accounting with an emphasis on national as well as international grant projects. Additionally, she is responsible for compiling financial reports and supports the preparation of the annual accounts as well as the execution of audits. Further points of focus lie in personnel controlling and managing contracts with subcontractors and project partners.

Before joining adelphi, Carla gained professional experience in international cooperation at the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles implemented by the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) as well as at the International Department of the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB).

Carla holds a Master Degree (M.A.) in Labour Policies and Globalisation from the Berlin School of Economics and Law where she focused on International Politics and Economics. In her B.A., she studied International and Cultural Business Studies at the University of Passau and the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics.
