Join the SEED Scale-Up Lab in South Africa, which includes a public showcase of innovative policy and climate finance prototypes.

Over a multi-stage labs process, the SEED Practitioner Labs cultivate an ecosystem of actors and instruments to support environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive enterprises. The prototypes co-created during the labs process, address some of the major financing and policy challenges faced by small and growing enterprises and mobilise a community of private and public sector actors around eco-inclusive enterprises in the transition to a green and inclusive South African economy.

The prototypes that will be showcased include:

• Climate Finance Products that extend access to long-term financing opportunities for “missing middle” small and growing climate-smart enterprises.
• Policy Instruments that increase access to and improve the quality of support mechanisms for socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable enterprises.
